Temporary- lasting, existing, serving, or effective for a time only; not permanent.
The last few days Jessie and I have been challenged with the truth that everything we know is completely temporary. We're not speaking simply of material things, but focusing on the most precious things, such as our marriage and family. Everything is transient. Everything, except the Kingdom of God. Psalm 39 says it like this.... "O Lord, make me know my end and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting I am! Behold, you have made my days a few handbreadths, and my lifetime is as nothing before you. Surely all mankind stands as a mere breath"
A mere breath. That's all we are from an eternal perspective. With that being said, we just wanted to encourage you to draw close to the depths of God's heart. May your faith stem from the reality of this temporariness. Meditate on the "measure of your days". God bless
